The choice of sheet or tile flooring depends on a number of factors, and each
format has its pros and cons.
Tile Rubber Flooring
Tile products, because of their nature, result in more joins in the flooring.
However, particularly with the patterned tiles, this may not affect the overall
finish as the eye is drawn away from the joins by the pattern in the
flooring.
Sheet Rubber Flooring
Some colours are only manufactured in tiles and others only in sheet. Sheet
flooring products are generally better suited to areas where joins are to be
kept to a minimum. In smaller areas, wastage may also influence the
choice.
Rubber Flooring Wastage
Tile flooring tends to create less wastage because the area in which the
flooring is installed only has to be a multiple of one tile, whereas with sheet
flooring the amount required has to be a multiple of the width of the roll.
