Where is Rubber Flooring Found Rubber flooring is a type of flooring made from a synthetic rubber. There are many different types of rubber flooring such as solid smooth, slate effect, studded, and bubble, not only are there these different types but all come in a range of different colours as well. Rubber flooring is a very popular option for many places of work and for some rooms in the home for many different reasons. Firstly it is easy to install and maintain, it is resistant to fading and cigarette burns, and it is an anti-static and provides effective sound insulation and vibration reduction. Due to these reasons rubber flooring is found in many different places of work, recreation, and in the home. Many gyms use rubber flooring because it is easy to clean and maintain and it absorbs the vibration of the machines and of the person doing the exercise which is good for the body. Many offices and workplaces use rubber flooring as well again it’s easy to install and it’s very hard wearing which is good for a place that has a lot of passing traffic. Rubber flooring has the advantage that it is easy to clean. In a work place it can become quite muddy and dirty from the amount of comings and goings of people and the floor being easy to clean is a very big factor, a carpet in this setting would not be appropriate and would probably need replacing on a regular basis. In shops and places of retail you may notice that many of them use rubber flooring, due to the many different options of rubber flooring you can create different looks which will suit your shop. For example if you have a very clean and sparse shop to bring out the colours of the items you are selling you can opt for a solid smooth rubber flooring in a white colour to fit in with your current shops décor.
