Rubber flooring is a great new solution to be used in your kitchen. It will last for a long time, and as we all know, kitchen floors tend to ware out very fast. It is also an area, that needs a lot of cleaning, rubber flooring is not only easy to clean, but also water and even fire resistant. And of course – rubber flooring is slip resistant. So no problems with spilling water on the floor and children accidentally slipping on it. So thinking of safety for your family? Rubber flooring is definitely a great solution.
Rubber flooring comes in two types, one is either sheets or interlocking tiles. We would recommend buying interlocking tiles, simply for practical reasons. Though rubber flooring will last you a long time, if there is a problem with any tile, it is easy to change it and you won’t have to tear up the whole kitchen floor.

Fitting Rubber Flooring
Can I fit the flooring myself? If so, how do I fit it? Our flooring products can be fitted by anybody who is reasonably competent at DIY. There are a few tools that are needed (such as a V-notched trowel for the adhesive), but we can supply these for you. We can also supply you with a full fitting guide for installing your floor.
Plywood must be fitted over wood subfloor to ensure a perfectly smooth finish. Nail this down with ring-shank nails and then fill the holes. Our flooring is designed as a permanent floor covering and need to be stuck down over the entire surface.
What is your Rubber Flooring made from?
Our products are made from a combination of SBR (synthetic rubber) and NR (natural rubber). Our flooring is halogen free and contains neither chlorine or phthalates. Most of the content of the material is natural fillers such as kaolin and chalk. Our flooring contains no heavy metals (such as lead or cadmium). Our rubber flooring is environmentally friendly in both its manufacture and recycleability.
